Halloween parade and pot luck

Our annual parade and potluck will be Friday, October 30th. For more info please look at our monthly newsletter. You may sign up by email by simply filling out the form.

We are off to another great school year. Our current theme is Friends and feelings.

Some fun learning activities we have done:

•  We have learned if your happy and your know it using all our emotions.
•  We have practiced writing our name using fall colors
• We have painted with different colors to express our feelings
• We made scented play doe
• We made air popcorn for the letter P
• We made pumpkin cookies for the letter P

Some basic learning we have done:

• Letter activities for letter Ff and Pp
• learned how to be a good friend

We will be continuing this theme through the middle of October

Please review your child's journal and initial it.  It is extremely important that your child feels proud of their accomplishments and feels important to you! Ask them about their day and share your day also with them.  If possible, please send in show and tell weekly.

Mistake on fun week!

Tomorrow is backwards day! We will be having crazy hair day on Thursday. Sorry for the confusion and the mistake.

Vacation fun week

Monday: pajama day!   Wear your pajamas all day! We will be having pancakes for breakfast! May also bring a favorite stuff animal or doll. 

Favorite movies can be brought in to watch all week.

Tuesday: crazy hair day. Wear your hair any weird way you would like! Funnier the better.

Blueberry muffins for breakfast

May bring in a favorite snack to share

Wednesday: dress as your favorite storybook character or supper hereo.

( no bad guys , weapons or scary costumes please)

We will be making pretzel bites

Thursday: backwards day.: wear your favorite color and clothes backwards!

We will be having English muffin pizzas for breakfast to share in our backwards day!

Valentines Day

We will be having our friendship celebration on Thursday Febuary 12th.

Please send in your child's valentines on Wednesday.
