My Son, attended Over the Rainbow for 2 years, just one day a week, at the age of 4-5yrs. Melissa was very accomodating and flexible. I am convinced that he went to public school ahead of reading level due to her consistent, and age appropriate curriculum. I highly recommend her facility for anyone that is lookingfor a laid back, flexible, home like atomsphere for their child. Having been in this profession my self for many years, you can not put a price tag on having the comforts of a home away of home for your child at a young age.
Melissa is a truly wonderful teacher. It is evident that she sincerely cares for each individual child and puts her heart and soul into her work. I am so glad I found such a wonderful care provider for my children. Unlike other providers, she doesn't just provide a safe environment for my children... but one that is also fun, educational, personal, and full of love and support!
13 years ago my daughter, then age 3, started in the care of Melissa. My son now age 9, has been with her for 7 years. She is a wonderful teacher. I chose not to send my kids to the public Preschool and stay with Melissa for their preschool experience. My children were well prepared for Kindergarten. As an educator myself I am so impressed with her. She challenges them and fosters their independence while providing a nuturing environment. Her consistency is so amazing. My son begged me to let him go every day for the summer because he is just so happy there-what more could a parent want!
